Future Microwave Oven Turns Waiting time To Fun

Apparently a couple of German guys have applied for a patent which will enable them to produce microwaves that have the ability to stream youtube clips whilst it is also busy cooking your food. Well I don’t really know what to say about this one. Some people will be going “oh my god this is a great idea” right about now, other people will be going “what the hell”, me I think its a total waste of time (who sits in their kitchen waiting for the microwave to go) but I guess it could be good for corporate or communal kitchens.

Mixing Medium’s is Good For Tv’s Says V

David Wyle over at the edmontonjournal took some time out last week to interview Canadian actor David Richmond-Peck Those of you who don’t recognize the name (shame on you) may recognize him from his role as the head of the human resistance in the latest incarnation of the hit sci fi series V. He has some very interesting things to say regarding the studios finally deciding to pursue the user rather than try to force them to confirm to the traditionally held television schedule.

YouTube Hopes To Get Users To Watch More Clips By Simplifying Video Playback Pages

As regular users of Youtube may have noticed they have undergone a very serious face lift this week. Frontier Unleashes Online Video Aggregator

It seems that yet another company has decided to jump onto the streaming entertainment delivery bandwagon, which would appear to be a popular choice for corporations traditionally not invested in the industry. In this case Frontier Communication Corp, a traditionally voice comm orientated business has stepped into the fray.

Finding it to difficult to watch movies free online on your new machine?

Since there are a load of new slate computers hitting the market, you know the kind of targeted devices which allow you to access the internet from wherever the heck you maybe. Its difficulty to know just precisely what kind of connection speeds you will need to be using whilst trying to see movies via net.

Movies For The Human Genome On Your Computer

Now this is pretty damn cool, ok well its not so much cool as it is incredibly Geeky, but with all that said and done, having access to movies of something as important as the human genome map from our computers is a HUGE leap forward for all of mankind. It doesn’t matter that the information cant be understood by 99.5% (made up statistic) of the worlds population, its potent stuff.

Difficulties with the ability to stream movies ?

What will all the new smart phones being released at the moment, especially those which are portable but still need to connect to the internet from multiple locations, whilst still granting full fledged net access. It’s becoming ever more difficult to figure out just exactly what rate of bandwidth you will want to be connecting to when attempting to see shows online. Especially if you plan to watch stuff whilst out and about, and not in a major built up city area.

He’s Teasing You, Nobody Has Two Television Sets

That’s the title of a discussion over at consumerism commentary, and I thought it would be worth bringing up here not only because of course its a quote from an awesome movie (5 points to the person who names which one), but also because in the day and age where each individual may potentially have two or three personal screens of some description at their disposal

Stop Complaining And Start Creating Again

Apparently Kevin Smith has been complaining recently about the absolute ridicule poured on him for his latest film Cop Out. Saying that from now on he won’t be allowing critics to watch movies made by him without having to pay for them (which apparently they didnt have to do before). Well Peter Howell over at TheStar seems to have taken offence.
